I’m curious what your opinions are about making legal sports betting for under 18’s. This is a topic that’s been constantly brought up over the years, especially during the 2006-2010 college football seasons. Back then, Florida State won the national championship with a young team that had many of the same players that have since been drafted into the NFL. You’d think that NCAA would have to follow suit.
However, they have continued to resist allowing players under the age of 18 to participate in ยืนยันบัญชี fun88 gambling activities. I remember the early rounds of the NFL draft during the early 2000’s where you could actually bet on the draft with a bookmaker. I remember going to casinos in Las Vegas where you could bet on sports, and not being able to legally do so in Florida. This is in the United States.
Some states have done so, but only a few. Take a look at New Jersey.
You can bet online on a lot of sports and games, and I think it’s a dumb move by the NCAA. The athletes are role models and the public would be taking a chance on their reputations. It’s like the NFL fined players for gambling, and now it’s a federal crime. I’d bet that every player on every team knows about it. And if they do take part in gambling, then they’ll never win another game.
They need to make this illegal. It’s just that easy.
I also agree that the NCAA needs to find a way to keep the athletes out of trouble with the law. The fact that they actually do nothing about it makes it obvious that they don’t care.
I am of the same opinion. I remember seeing many athletes playing in the NCAA tournament with their bookies. They weren’t 18 though. Why not, Because they were using their fame to make money.
I am not of the belief that all athletes should be kept off of gambling because if they get busted for gambling they could be looking at jail time. I think they should be able to take part in gambling as long as it’s not their main source of income. As long as they are not being paid off to fun88 esport gamble, and they have a good enough relationship with their coaches that they are given positive reinforcement if they do well, then they should be able to gamble.
I think they need to do away with the NCAA and go back to the National Collegiate Athletic Association. They’re a bunch of lazy, hypocritical, and just plain dumb people.
